Dear Members of the Knights of Columbus,
Greetings of peace to all the members of the Knights of Columbus council 13881 on the occasion of your 14th anniversary at St. Kevin’s Parish.
Let me take this opportunity to thank all of you for actively serving here at the parish and also for contributing your time and effort for the other parish activities. The parish is blessed because of your dedication and commitment to help. The spirit of volunteerism is truly present in your hearts.
Being in existence for this number of years is never easy. Leadership changed and members come and go; some may never come back, some have passed on to rejoin our Creator and some have stayed on for all these years. And in spite of all these challenges, you as a group have remained steadfast and whole. The success of your group is through the efforts of all the members.
We may have challenges as a group but our main challenge is to live out the Gospel, making Christ present in our lives and sharing this to our families, friends and the people that we meet specially here in our parish. I pray that as you remain members of this council, may you continue to allow Christ to reign in your lives, showing His presence by being good examples to others and may each and every one of you be instruments of His love and mercy.
With the intercession of our Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph, may you continue grow together in love and service.
